Blooms and Legumes

Meet Mrph, the orange tabby rescue who has now joined the family.  Mrph is his nom du blog, and is the name I should have given him if I had waited to get to know him.  It's the sound he makes when he comes looking for me, and it definitely has no vowels in it. Mrph is social in the sense that he has to be near his people, but not so close that we can pick him up and cuddle. Unless he wants treats, then he'll submit for a minute or two. He's a delight, except for the times when he brings a live chipmunk into the house, or drops a passed-out mouse at my feet. Still, it's nice having a fur-person back in the house.
